Dacar Products Company, Inc. was founded in 1931 and ceased
operations at the end of 2008. Until, then the company was
located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, and manufactured and
marketed products regionally, nationally and internationally,
under the forty-five year old trade names DALCOR
and DAXCEL® (also a registered
trademark).
- Daxcel Adhesives &
Sealants are now manufactured by Dacar Industries, Inc., a
separate and distinct corporation, with long experience in
manufacturing such products. Dacar Industries can be reached
via web-site dacar.com.
- Dalcor Image Systems
Division manufactured our Radiation Curable IMAGEGARD®
Photographic Coatings and our ULTRASCOUR®
Cleaning Additives. IMAGEGARD coatings provided
exceptional abrasion, mar and handling protection to
photograpic film and motion picture film. ULTRASCOUR
CA was a very environmentally friendly additive for ultrasonic
cleaning devices used to clean film developing racks and other
equipment. The shift to Digital Imagce capture and processing
elimated the need for such film-oriented products.
- DALCOR Fabrication Division
manufactured premium home construction items, primarily
under the DALCOR brand name, but under
private labels as well. These top-of-the-line products are
no longer available.
